Over the past few days I have come across things in real life that we have been learning in class and it made me wonder if you guys are seeing connections between class and the real world too! For instance, when I was at the lake this past weekend I came across some beautiful red wild flowers. Can you guess what type they were? If you guessed an Indian Paintbrush, then you are correct! After reading “The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush” by Tomie DePaola, I found a real Indian paintbrush in the wild. The weather this week has also wonderfully illustrated a concept we have been exploring in class... the water cycle! What concepts from class have you seen outside of school?
